Your records and uploaded documents are stored with Supabase. Account access rules are designed to separate users’ records, and the operator has administrative access for support and running the service. AI features send the content you submit to Google or Anthropic; shared service keys are available, and your own key is optional. Private notes use separate browser storage and do not sync automatically. We make no HIPAA compliance claim and do not offer a BAA. Read the data-handling details and limits before uploading sensitive material.

You keep working. The app is offline first: your records live in your own browser as well as on the server, so a flight, a hospital basement or an outage at our end does not stop you opening a licence number or logging a case. Changes queue on the device and sync when the connection returns.

Behind that there are three separate copies. The database is Postgres at Supabase in the United States, which takes its own daily snapshot. Every night at 03:10 a second job runs on hardware we control and pulls a full copy: every table, the schema, and every document you have uploaded, into one archive encrypted with AES-256 before it is written to disk. That archive is kept for 30 days locally and copied off site for 14. Both copies carry a checksum so a corrupted file is detected rather than discovered during a restore.

The reason the nightly job exists is specific: the provider’s own snapshots cover the database but not your uploaded files. Without it, a lost project would mean lost documents. With it, the documents sit in a second place, in our custody, encrypted.

Tested. A backup nobody has restored is a hope, not a failsafe. The archive has been decrypted and loaded into a clean Postgres database end to end, table counts and row hashes compared against the live database, and a document opened from the restored copy. That result is written down, and the runbook puts the next full restore test on the calendar quarterly.

An archive can also be opened without us and without Supabase: it is a plain tar file behind standard OpenSSL encryption, holding your data as JSON and CSV and your documents as the original files. There is no proprietary format to be locked into and no tool of ours you need in order to read it.

Yes, and you should. More > Data & Backup exports everything you have entered whenever you want it, in open formats. Once a month the server also builds a ZIP of your records and your uploaded documents and emails you that it is ready. The email carries no link to the file: you download it while signed in, through a link that expires in 15 minutes, and the three most recent months are kept.

Nothing about your record depends on this company continuing to exist. It is your licences, your CME and your documents, in formats a spreadsheet and a PDF reader can open, one export away at any time.

Yes. CredentialDOMD supports all 50 states plus DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Each state's specific licensing requirements, CME mandates, and renewal cycles are built into the system. If you practice across multiple states, we track each one independently.

Group-management features are on the roadmap and are not currently available. The individual Practice package does not provide team-wide account management. Contact support@credentialdomd.com to discuss your group’s needs; no release date or priority onboarding is promised.

CredentialDOMD complements CAQH, it does not replace it. We track the same credential data CAQH requires, so when it is time to update your CAQH profile, everything you need is already organized and current. Think of us as the source of truth that makes CAQH updates a five-minute task instead of a two-hour ordeal.
