Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Eric Whitney, DO, A Professional Corporation, which operates CredentialDOMD ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Beta status
CredentialDOMD is in beta. It is free while the beta lasts. If paid plans launch, you will be told in advance and nothing will be charged without your agreement. Features may change, be renamed, or be removed. There is no uptime guarantee and no service-level commitment; export a backup regularly.
2. Your account
An account is required and is issued through Clerk. Keep your sign-in method to yourself, sign out on shared computers, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. One person per account. You must be at least 18 and either a physician (MD or DO), a resident or fellow, or someone with permission to manage a physician's credentials.
3. What the app is
CredentialDOMD helps physicians organize, track, and share their own professional credentials and locum work. It keeps a cache on your device and syncs to a cloud database and private file storage under your account (details in the Privacy Policy).
It is not a credentialing verification organization, a state medical board system, a hospital medical staff office, or an accredited CME tracker. Verify against the official source before you submit anything for credentialing.
4. Your data, your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Compliance and CME calculations are based on published state requirements and are informational; requirements change, and the state board's page is the authority. Reminders are a convenience: keep your own calendar for anything you cannot afford to miss.
5. AI features and keys
AI features can run on shared Google Gemini or Anthropic keys held on our server, subject to availability and usage limits that we may change, or on API keys you supply (Google Gemini, Anthropic, or both). If you supply a key you are responsible for it, for the charges on it, and for complying with the provider's terms. Content you submit to an AI feature goes to that provider under whichever key is in use. We may suspend shared-key access for abuse. AI output is a draft for your review; do not rely on it without checking.
6. Patient information
You agree not to upload patient records or enter patient identifiers into synced fields, attachments, support tickets, chats or dictated text. The private note field on a work or case entry uses separate local browser storage and does not normally sync. It is not separately encrypted by the app, and manual exports are readable files. Screening and AI instructions cannot guarantee that identifiers are removed from content you submit elsewhere. We make no HIPAA compliance claim and do not offer a BAA. If your workflow requires a BAA, do not use this app for it. See Security and data handling (credentialdomd.com/security).
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to store or share credentials that are not yours without permission, to misrepresent qualifications, to probe or overload the service, or to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Support
Support is by email at [email protected] and through Get help in the app. Tickets are read by the operator and may be processed with AI tooling. During beta there is no guaranteed response time.
9. Ownership
You own your data. We own the app, its code, design, and brand, and you receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use it. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
10. Warranty and liability
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost credential data, missed renewal deadlines, inaccurate compliance calculations, or credentialing problems based on app data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which during the free beta is zero.
11. Ending the relationship
You can stop any time: export, delete your data from More > Data Rights, and email us to close the account. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or if the beta ends, and will give notice and time to export where we can.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top moves and material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
